SEO will always be an important topic for web design (despite what some may say), and 2017 is no different. Here are some of the interesting SEO trends for the new year.
1. More Featured Snippets
A featured snippet is an answer to a question you search for on Google that is displayed directly on the Google results page. It is pulled from a webpage, and includes the title and URL of that webpage.
This is something I only ran across recently and it's very interesting in it's potential impact for SEO.
In a website silo structure, you try to put all your SEO influence for one particular keyword phrase into ONE page.
Who We Serve
Fresh Look has many clients of different sizes and in different locations across Virginia. We serve small businesses, not-for-profits and municipal governments in the Greater Hampton Roads region primarily, however we also have clients all throughout Virginia and even the United States.
Web Design for Small Businesses
Do you want your business to get found? Small business owners are usually very concerned with search engine optimization. We offer SEO services, and we also have a very nice archive of helpful tips and articles in our SEO articles section.
Typically, small business owners are looking for someone to manage their website for them. They are very busy with the day-to-day operations and don't have time to worry about their online presence. They need an expert who can offer ideas and then implement those ideas when practical.
That's why we offer web maintenance for our clients. All they need to do is send us a quick email, text, or phone call and their request is usually taken care of within minutes.

Web Design for Non-Profits
Are you a not-for-profit organization with a small budget? Non-profit organizations sometimes have different needs than a for-profit business. Many non-profits have access to volunteers who are willing and able to put the time into helping the organization. Fresh Look Web Design offers top of the line website training so that our clients can manage their website on their own. Many non-profits take advantage of this flexibility and end up saving lots of money because their website is specifically designed so a volunteer can easily make updates.
We use a content management system called Joomla. Joomla is great for managing a website large or small if you do not have technical skills like HTML. We have used Joomla for almost 10 years and we know how to get it to work for you.

Web Design for Local Government
Are you tired of getting outrageously high quotes on web design just because you're a government entity? It doesn't have to be that expensive! Local government has unique issues and demands on a website, however the price does not have to be that expensive. We have worked with several different municipal governments on their website, including design, hosting, maintenance, email, etc. Give us a chance, let us talk to you and we will give you the best deal possible.
